Taste & Travel Magazine Article: Eating High and Low in Magical Luang Prabang, Laos
Posted in ** PUBLISHED ELSEWHERE **, Asia, Recipes, Reviews on April 12, 2013 | Leave a Comment »
My article on delicious food in Laos’ ancient royal capital, Luang Prabang, is in the spring 2013 issue of Taste & Travel International magazine. Published four times per year, this great print mag focuses exclusively on culinary travel (click HERE to subscribe (Zinio or paper, $25 plus shipping).
Click HERE to see my article, which includes an easy recipe for my favourite sandwich … almost like the ladies in Luang Prabang make it.
While they didn’t get credit in the print edition, I’d like to give a big shout out to two great photographers who kindly shared their photos with me:
- Dani Heinrich of GlobetrotterGirls.com has six photos featured in the article (the photo of the cool crab-carrying and -cooking basket above is hers); and
- Rick Whiteford has two photos featured, plus gave me great tips on the latest goings on in Luang Prabang.
Scroll down to the end of the article for photo credit details. I’ll be back in Laos myself in late 2013, and hope to get some great photos of my own!
